1. Introduction
At SonusLab ("we", "us", "our"), we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the SonusLab website, dashboard, and API, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. By using SonusLab, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the data needed to provide and improve the service.
- Account data — your name, email address, and authentication identifiers when you sign in (including via Google OAuth).
- Audio content — source URLs, uploaded reference audio, generated clips, voice clones, and speech you create through the platform.
- API keys — keys you generate are stored hashed; the full key is shown once on creation and never stored in plain text.
- Usage data — API call counts, feature usage, and basic, privacy-friendly analytics to operate and improve the service.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to authenticate you, provide audio clipping, text-to-speech, and voice cloning features, track API usage against your account, maintain security, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Data Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS) for all data exchanged with our services.
- API keys hashed at rest; credentials never stored in plain text.
- Access to stored data is restricted to what is required to operate the service.
5. Third-Party Services
We rely on third-party providers to deliver SonusLab, including authentication (Google OAuth), hosting, database and storage infrastructure, and privacy-friendly analytics. When you clip audio from external platforms, those sources are governed by their own terms — you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any source content you submit.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights over your personal data.
- • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- • Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- • Erasure — request deletion of your account and associated data.
- • Portability — request your data in a portable format.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data and generated content, except where retention is required by law.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
